Mimi’s Ground Beef & Potato Casserole

*2.5 lbs ground beef
*8-10 potatoes, peeled and grated (or cut) into thin rounds
*1 onion, sliced into rounds
*3-5? tbsp. milk
*salt and pepper to taste

Grease a large baking dish. Place small amounts of meat in the dish, sprinkle on salt and pepper, top with half of the potatoes and half of the onion. Repeat. Cover all with more salt and pepper. Splash milk on everything (just to keep everything from getting dried out).

Put in a 350F* oven for an hour. Do not cover for first 30 minutes. Last 30 minutes, loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake for remaining 30 minutes.
