We <3 Leftovers Casserole


  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5-6 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley, fresh or dried
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1 package spiral noodles
  1. Boil chicken and chop
  2. Cook noodles according to directions and drain
  3. Saute onion and celery in butter, remove from heat & add parsley
  4. In a large bowl combine noodles, chicken, and saute mixture
  5. Heat soups with milk and half-and-half, pour over chicken mixture
  6. Pour into a well-greased 9×13 pan and top with breadcrumbs
  7. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 325, remove cover and bake 5 more minutes

I changed this up from the original recipe.  It called for turkey instead of chicken, and it included carrots, pimientos, and mushrooms.  We loved it this way, but if anyone is interested in the measurements for the original recipe, then let me know! ❤ Amanda Bonds
