Basler Beer Bread

This is my hubby’s grandparents’ recipe 🙂 SO yummy!

3 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 12 oz can of beer (room temp is best but not necessary)
1/4 cup butter, melted

Combine and stir dry ingredients. Add beer and mix. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake at 375F for 45-55 minutes. Last 15 minutes of baking time, pour melted butter over top of bread. When finished (butter knife comes out clean), let cool for five minutes, remove from pan and let cool 15 more minutes. Slice and eat! Store in air tight ziploc, if there’s any left 😉
